    scrambled eggs
    hearty breakfast
    delicious evening meals
    uncomfortable double bed
    worn-out sofa bed

The scrambled eggs were a marvel, bursting with flavor and the breakfast spread was downright hearty! Plus, the location was perfect for walks from the doorstep, and the evening meals were delicious at reasonable prices.

The double bed was a bit of a letdown—totally needed a refresh, and that sofa bed was a squishy disaster just hanging on for dear life.

    definitely visiting again

Location's perfect for walking trails right outside. Loved the cozy log fire in the bar area. My room was spacious, had a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and shower. Breakfast was a feast with tasty scrambled eggs and good coffee. The staff were super friendly and quick with service.

    not-so-clean room

    Fantastic spot for walkers!

We stayed for 3 nights in a cozy two-bedroom house. Super easy access to walking trails right from the door. Came back to the pub for tasty meals and a pint, which was a real treat. Breakfast was solid, and the staff were really friendly despite being slammed. Only thing was the room could've used a deep clean.

    hearty meals
    garden area
    kids activities
    unexpected noise

We had a lovely stay in a Two-Bedroom House, enjoying hearty meals like the steak night special, which was a steal! The garden area was perfect for relaxing, and the kids loved playing outside. Just a heads up, there was a bit of unexpected noise from the bar one night, but it didn't ruin our trip. 😊

The location was incredible, with a tranquil setting and a beautiful field where the kids could play. The triple room was spacious and clean, featuring a comfortable bed. the dining experience fluctuated. while one meal was tasty, another had overcooked components that disappointed. Breakfast was greasy on one occasion but perfect on another, suggesting inconsistent kitchen performance. a pleasant getaway with room for improvement in food quality.

    spacious room
    delicious food
    breathtaking walks
    entertainment options

We had a lovely time exploring the nearby Peak District, where there were so many breathtaking walks to take with the kids. Our family enjoyed the spacious and comfortable triple room, and the food at the pub was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.

My kids wished for a bit more entertainment in the evenings, especially games or activities for families. It could really help keep them engaged.
